Xiao Xun’er vs. Medusa: Who Wins in a Battle of the BTTH Goddesses?

As the Battle Through the Heavens (Doupo Cangqiong) annual anime progresses, both of our leading ladies—Xiao Xun’er and Medusa—have officially stepped into the prestigious realm of Dou Saint (Đẩu Thánh)! Not only are they breathtakingly beautiful, but they are also absolute powerhouses easily outclassing almost everyone else in the Continent.

Naturally, a fun question has been buzzing among fans: If these two Dou Saint goddesses were to spar, who would actually come out on top?

Since the original novel never gave us an official fight, let’s break down their unique strengths in a friendly debate!

The Case for Medusa: Battle Instincts & Cold-Blooded Focus
Medusa’s biggest edge in a duel comes down to battle experience and killer instinct:

Battle-Tested Queen: Unlike high-society cultivators, Medusa fought her way from the bottom up, leading the Snake-People tribe through ruthless desert wars and against formidable human foes. Her combat survival skills are legendary.

Zero Hesitation: Known for her imperial, decisive aura, Medusa doesn’t hold back in battle. When the gloves come off, she goes all-in, making her an intimidating opponent even for high-tier experts.

The Case for Xiao Xun’er: Heavenly Flames & Elite Heritage
On the other hand, Xun’er brings god-tier resources, unmatched talent, and pure firepower:

Gold Emperor Heavenly Flame: Xun’er wields the Gold Emperor Sky Burning Flame (Kim Đế Phần Thiên Viêm)—ranked 4th among the Heavenly Flames! Its sheer destructive power is capable of burning through spatial energy and spiritual force alike.

Ancient Clan Bloodline: Possessing the pure Divine Grade bloodline of the Gu Clan, Xun’er’s energy reserves, high-level Dou Techniques, and top-tier training give her an incredible edge in high-stakes clashes.

The Verdict: A Clash of Fire and Ice!
If they were to spar, Xun’er’s insane flame firepower and top-tier Gu Clan techniques could easily pressure any opponent from the start. However, as the fight drags on, Medusa’s gritty adaptability and ruthless combat experience could prove to be the ultimate game-changer!

The Fan-Friendly Reality: Because Xun’er is inherently refined and empathetic, and both women share deep ties to Xiao Yan, neither would ever actually fight to the death. Xun’er might hold back out of courtesy, while Medusa would keep her sharp edge intact.

Ultimately, there is no real loser here. One is the graceful, flame-wielding goddess of the Ancient Clan; the other is the dominant, fierce Queen of the Snake-People. Xiao Yan truly is the luckiest guy in the continent!

What do you think? Team Xun’er or Team Medusa? Let’s hear your thoughts!

Just kidding — but if the admin gets to choose, Medusa wins hands down. 😂🐍
